The short version
RipX has no email sign-up and no passwords. You sign in with a wallet, so the main thing we know about you is a public wallet address and what that address did on RipX. We don't sell personal data and we don't run advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Wallet data: your public address, the sign-in message you signed, session cookies.
- Activity: deposits and withdrawals (amounts and transaction hashes), your balance history, orders, packs opened, cards pulled, points.
- Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, error logs — used for security, rate limiting, fraud prevention and geographic restrictions.
- Support messages you send us, and any age or identity documents we are legally required to request.
Stored in your browser
We use one essential cookie (ripx_session) to keep you signed in, and local storage for: your 18+ confirmation, the wallet you last connected with, a deposit that is still confirming (so a reload can never lose it) and which packs you have already opened. None of this is used for advertising.
Public by design
Blockchains are public. Deposits to RipX and withdrawals to you are visible on Robinhood Chain to anyone. On the site, the live ticker and leaderboard show shortened wallet addresses next to notable pulls. Shortening is cosmetic — a determined observer can link them to on-chain activity.
Why we use it
- to run your balance, deliver packs and withdrawals, and keep a provable record of every draw (contract);
- to prevent fraud, abuse of free packs, under-age or restricted-location play (legitimate interests / legal obligation);
- to meet accounting, tax and regulatory duties (legal obligation).
Sharing
With infrastructure providers that host the service and RPC access to the chain, with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it. Our main providers are Vercel (website hosting), Fly.io (application servers and database), our blockchain RPC provider, and X Corp. when you choose to link your X account. Some of them process data outside your country; where the law requires it we rely on their standard contractual safeguards for those transfers.
Retention
Balance, order, draw and withdrawal records are kept for 6 years because they are financial records and the fairness proofs depend on them. Logs are kept for up to 90 days. Sessions expire after 7 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data and to object to some processing. Records that must be kept by law, and anything already on a public blockchain, cannot be erased. Contact support@ripx.fun; you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
RipX is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; see the Terms.
